Percentiles and Rating

Percentile

Each metric ranks the selected player against the active cohort after the position, minutes and age filters are applied. Choosing a player changes the displayed profile without removing other players from that cohort. A 75th percentile result means the player’s raw value is equal to or higher than 75% of valid peers in that cohort.

Only peers with a valid numeric value for that metric are included. When fewer than two valid values exist, Talent DNA displays the neutral 50th percentile. Higher is treated as better; metrics where lower is desirable should be interpreted carefully.

Rating

The Rating is the rounded, equal-weight average of the six role-specific core percentiles shown in the Core Radar. Missing metrics are excluded instead of being scored as average. It is a cohort indicator—not an absolute player judgement—and changes whenever the active cohort changes.

Your scouting data stays local

Wyscout files are parsed and analysed inside your browser. File contents, player records and filenames are not sent to Talent DNA, saved to a server or shared with third parties. Closing or refreshing the page clears the uploaded dataset.

Talent DNA records only anonymous feature-use counters such as a dashboard view, successful upload or import error. These counters contain no spreadsheet data, player names, filenames, account identifiers or advertising cookies.

Preparing your export

Export your Wyscout player search as .xlsx or .csv with column headings on the first row. Talent DNA requires Player and Minutes played. Include Position for positional cohorts and Age for age filtering.

• The first worksheet is used for Excel files.
• Common headings such as Name, Club, Minutes and Mins played are recognised automatically.
• Rows without a player name or numeric minutes are skipped and reported.
• Files over 25 MB are rejected to protect browser performance.
